If you are considering becoming a website developer, then you will probably already know that you can make a lot of money in this sort of role. Developers are often in high demand and due to more and businesses turning to the online work to market their business, you will not be sort of work if you do venture down this career path. There are a number of ways in which you can become a website developer. You may decide to do a course at college or a degree at university or you may teach yourself or learn on the job working your way up from a junior. There is no right and wrong way to train and although some employers will ask for a formal qualification, if you are able to demonstrate your skills, they may be happy to overlook this and offer you a placement. Developers’ wages vary massively from fifteen to twenty thousand pounds a year for a junior upwards of two hundred thousand pounds for an ultra-experienced developer who is head of a team.
Starting off as a junior often is a good choice and if you are willing to work hard and learn fast you can progress very quickly in to a more senior role.
